Dividend Reads for the Weekend

I can hear the drum rolls from here… Last Saturday, we received an offer on our house (another one!) as our previous buyers didn’t get their financing approval (so much work to get a pre-authorization and still…). Tomorrow, our counter-offer expires and I expect an answer from those new potential buyers today or tomorrow. It will be a stressful weekend that will finish on a good note!

This week, I was quite present with two guest articles:

Define the Right Stock Price in a Volatile Market @ My Dividend Growth

Focus on Dividend Growth for Long Term Results @ Dividend Growth Investor

I’ve also asked my readers “Are We Heading for a Negative Year on the Stock Market?”

And “Do You Live to Pay Your Mortgage?”

I’ve listed 3 Dividend Growth Stocks with Wide Margins of Safety @ Dividend Monk

And I also found the time to analyze two companies:

3M In A Perfect Position To Perform In A Raising Interest Rate Environment

Interest Rates Are About To Rise, It’s Time To Buy Wells Fargo

Interesting Reads:

Dividend Growth & Retirement bought Exxon Mobil (XOM) and National Bank (NA.TO). With National Bank’s announcement after the market close yesterday, I bet he would have liked to buy it this morning ;-). Still, those are 2 good companies.

Retirement by 40 is asking what is your dream retirement? We share several goals in common. During my RV trip, I will define exactly what my dream retirement is as I am traveling.

Hello Suckers writes about interest rate rising… or not! I it will and I think the FED must raise interest rate for the good of the economy.

Tawcan bought a whole bunch of different stocks… it feels like Christmas!

Sure Dividend reviews General Mills (GIS).

And a Special Mention To…

Tyler @ Dividend Hustler. I want to thank him to share this very personal story. On top of all the sadness, I’m taking two quotes from his post:

Now, I’m gonna keep pushing forward and f****g do it up!  I’m gonna destroy all my goals and conquer this journey.

And

I know my life is empty and meaningless without my family.

Enjoy your weekend!

Mike
